On June 18, another meeting was organized by the “Partnership for an Open Society” Initiative and the European Union Delegation in Armenia. The aim was to present and discuss the joint civil society monitoring report around the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement (CEPA) between Armenia and the EU. This event was already the fourth one, aimed at presenting the results of the monitoring reports to the representatives of the EU member states, public structures, and the actors of Armenian civil society.
Arsen Igityan, a representative of the USLGPSEA and a member of the EU-AM Civil Society Platform established by the CEPA Agreement was also present at the meeting.
During the discussion, the draft bill of the reformed Labor Code was presented, along with the comments from the the civil society regarding it were presented.
The representatives of the trade union also expressed their positions regarding the draft bill.
